Dementia Night Respite Program
Offers temporary relief to caregivers of individuals with dementia, allowing them
to take a break while their loved ones receive care in a safe and supportive
environment.
The SCDC Night Program:
SCDC night respite program is for people living with dementia to attend between the hours of 5:00 pm to 11:00 pm. Each night the center is open nightly Wednesday thru Sunday night.
The night program will encounter three phases over the next five years. The first phase is 5:00 pm to 11:00 pm Wednesday thru Sunday. Stay tuned as we transition over the next five years.

Engaging Activities: Offering activities tailored to the individual’s interests and abilities to promote cognitive stimulation and social interaction .
Support for Caregivers: Allowing caregivers to rest, recharge, and attend to personal needs or spend time with family and friends.
Safety and Supervision: Ensuring a safe environment and offering supervision to prevent accidents.
